Canaan became a licensed cosmetologist after graduating from Paul Mitchell the School in Murfreesboro, TN.
 
She works as a freelance makeup artist and hair stylist and specializes in everything from special events, editorials, and commercial work to portraits and photo shoots. She now currently resides in Mt. Juliet with her two girls.
