Hannah Anders & Daniel Ford got married on May 1, 2021 at the picturesque Meadow Hill Farm in Columbia, TN. We were so honored to be a part of their day.
For the bride & party, we provided on site hair & makeup services. Our owner Madison Dennis was the lead stylist, and wanted to share with you a bit more about her relationship with Hannah and her wedding day look.
From Madison:
"I have been working with Hannah Anders for about 5 years now. Hannah is a country music artist, model for Tribe Talent, and a vocal coach, so we have had MANY opportunities to work together over the years. So, when she and her husband Daniel got engaged, she kept me in the loop every step of those early days in planning to ensure my availability and also get my opinion on some of the venues they were interested in. They eventually chose the gorgeous Meadow Hill Farm in Columbia, TN -- a venue I have done hair & makeup for many times in the past.
Madison continues:
"Doing wedding hair & makeup for someone I've worked with so many times before was both fun and a challenge. We had done SO many different looks for Hannah's various work shoots, that it was a little difficult deciding which to do for her wedding. Hannah had the idea of bringing a rose element to her makeup color palette, to play off of the flower garden aspect of her wedding venue. That was definitely the right choice, because it complemented the surroundings so beautifully that day.
"Hannah's skin is quite oily, so I knew I had to pull out all the stops to keep the shine at bay for such a long day & evening. I primed her with our MHD Cosmetics Mattifying Primer, used matte airbrush foundation, and also set the face well with our MHD Cosmetics Dual Powder Foundation for good measure. Thankfully on the wedding day the weather was absolutely gorgeous, and not too hot, so Hannah stayed looking absolutely flawless all day and night without any touch-ups.
Madison continues:
"Hannah also has AWESOMEEE hair. I mean, awesome! It's blonde and thick, which lends itself to have the most stunning texture in an updo. I had done an updo on Hannah once before, for a Christmas music video, but it was a high updo, and she wanted something lower and more chic for her wedding. We ended up doing a hybrid of a couple of different styles that we both loved, with airy wavy texture through the main part, and a textured, almost curly, bun in the back. The updo was also accented by a hair pin from Hair Comes the Bride, the Gwen Hair Pin, which Hannah picked out during her preview appointment with me.
