Baima-Johnson Wedding at Cedarmont Farms in September 2020

Brittany Baima was definitely one of those brides who was my absolute SOUL sister when it came to her bridal aesthetic.

The inspiration for her hair & makeup was that she wanted to be the highest level of class & elegance, of course with some glam!

For Brittany's eyes, I started with a base of Tarte Shape Tape concealer on the lids, and then used MHD Cosmetics eyeshadows in Biscuit, Tail Spin, Savannah, Urban, Ochre, Pink Slip, & Cactus. The eyeliner was Inglot gel liner in Black (#77).

For Brittany's complexion, I used airbrush foundation, contour/bronzer, & blush. I used a combination of airbrush products from Temptu (Perfect Canvas) & MHD Cosmetics (Hi-Def Foundation thinned w/ Face Atelier Ultra Air). Under eye concealer was Tarte Shape Tape.

For blush, we went with a matte & shimmer blush combo, using Sultry & Hi-Five from MHD Cosmetics. Her cheekbone, nose, & cupid's bow highlight was "Soft Spun" Spot Lite highlighter from MHD Cosmetics.

Brittany's brows were a bit of a challenge, as she has very light blonde hair but wanted her brows to pop without being distracting. So, I used a combination of a brow powder product & a pencil - MHD Cosmetics Brow Shadow in Ash Brown & Sandy Blonde, and MHD Cosmetics Refine Brow Liner in Light Brown.

For her lips, we wanted her to have some color (not nude) and for the tone to go with the gorgeous dusty pink flowers she had accenting her bouquet and decor. For that, we settled on Charlotte Tilbury "Iconic Nude" lip liner, and MHD Cosmetics lipstick in "Slept In" which is a soft mauve/rose shade.

For Brittany's hair, she wanted a low bun updo that was sleek but full. To create this hairstyle, I went in with a mini crimper to create texture & volume in the under layers, put just a little bit of curl in the ends to create some "bend", and added a small hair padding to the bun for structure & fullness. We also used a hair piece in her hair at her trial that she ended up purchasing for the wedding day!

This type of updo is one of my favorites to do, because it is sleek & structured, while still being elegant. And, it photographs so well!

I also had the pleasure of styling Brittany's gorgeous mother. Providing hair & makeup services for mothers of the bride & groom have become something that I absolutely love doing. Her mother used Melania Trump as style inspiration, and wanted to look youthful, radiant, and chic. I used airbrush makeup and MHD Cosmetics to accomplish this look for her.

This day would not have been complete without the help of our NWS Support Stylist team (there were 4 of us on site providing services for 10 or so women), Colleen at Cedarwood Weddings, and Ashton with Ashton Brooke Photography.
