Bailey Bjorland & Justin Rye got married on April 23, 2022 at the sprawling Owen Farm in Chapmansboro, TN. We were so honored to be a part of their day.
For the bride & party, we provided on site hair & makeup services. Kathryn was the lead stylist, and wanted to share with you a bit more about Bailey's look.
From Kathryn:
"Initially Bailey wanted to try out a high ponytail at her preview appointment. We tried a textured pony and a smoothed pony, and ultimately decided that, without extensions, the hair texture and length just wouldn’t give her the "BAM" glam look that she was going for. So, I suggested that on the wedding day we incorporate more of her natural curl texture."
"Bailey is not an every day make up wearer, BUT for her wedding she didn’t want to hold back -- she wanted to go all the way glam with her makeup. She didn’t want a dark all-over smoky eye, but something with a "high watt" pigment on the lid and a darker contour in the eye socket. She wanted the glamorous look that MHD is originally known for."
"Bailey was also an airbrush bride. We used MHD luster pigment as a signature product to create her eyeshadow look. Because we went deeper in the crease with a high shine on the lid, we balanced the look with a neutral soft lip shade."
