Samantha Wheeler & Michael Winkler got married on October 16, 2021 at the historic Germantown Inn in Nashville, TN. We were so honored to be a part of their day.
We provided on site hair & makeup services for the bride and some of her small bridal party. Faith was the lead stylist, and wanted to share with you a bit more about Samantha's look.
From Faith:
"Samantha wanted to try multiple looks over the course of her booking, so we actually did two preview appointments to try those different looks. At the first appointment, we did a fully down hairstyle, and for the makeup we went with a very neutral color palette utilizing soft pinks and neutral browns. At the second appointment, we did more of a "Bronze Goddess" look with bronzy cheeks and golden tones on the eyes, and an updo for her hair."
"For the wedding, she ultimately decided to go with something closer to the first makeup look that we had done, but went with the updo we did at the second appointment. For her wedding day makeup, we used a warm but neutral beige eyeshadow blended into a medium dark brown in the corners with a natural false lash to give her extra length and thickness. We finished the eye look with a brown liner with a little bit of black eyeshadow to thicken the lash line a bit more and pop the eyes."
"For her lipcolor, we used MHD Cosmetics Long Lasting Lipgloss in Nearly Naked. For her complexion, we used Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation with a golden-toned highlighter and bronzy cheeks. She really wanted a warm but neutral look for the wedding emphasizing her natural beauty."
