ABOUT SONYA

Sonya Floyd has been a professional makeup artist for 15 years. She trained at The Academy of Makeup Arts in Nashville, TN, and received additional training while employed by MAC Cosmetics. She has worked with the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders, the Black Music Honors Award Show, Trinity Broadcasting Network, the Dove Awards, and the Stellar Awards, along with numerous productions, record companies, actors, and artists; in addition to hundreds of brides, bridesmaids, and women for every occasion.

 

Sonya loves helping her clients feel their best, creating looks that enhance their natural features and bring out their confidence. With a background in elementary education, she’s also a natural teacher, hosting makeup application classes for beginners and fellow artists alike, covering everything from color matching to contouring.
